LEICA RM2255 Single-photon microtomes (parafinne)
The Leica RM2255 rotating microtome, designed for sectioning paraffin-embedded specimens, offers a wide range of applications for histology in research laboratories. The RM2255 is designed for customers who wish to integrate kerosene or resin samples into clinical histopathology and biomedical research. It is fully motorized with a precision stepper motor for accurate advancement and a powerful large motor for cutting. The microtome can however be operated manually.
The cutting speed can be adjusted to cut hard materials as well as paraffin-embedded specimens with high throughput and without any impairment of the sectioning quality.
Features include: fully motorized rotary microtome with adjustable cutting speed and two speeds of movement, ergonomically designed, with external control panel, selection of continuous or stepwise movement, safety lever with two locking mechanisms, integrated storage tray at the top of the microtome, internal mechanism protection system, sample holder clamp system, one-handed operation and integrated section waste tray.

LEICA CM1950 cryostats
They guarantee efficient sample processing, while providing fast and safe cuts.
This equipment provides top quality cuts, due to a high precision microtome with sample feed through a stepper motor.
It also has motorized cutting (optional).
To increase safety, the inside of the equipment is equipped with a UVC disinfection system to eliminate most bacteria, viruses and fungi even at low temperatures.
Waste extraction system and spacious cryo chamber.

LEICA ASP300S Automatic Tissue Processor
Modular design, for the following laboratory applications: Fixation, Dehydration, and kerosene infiltration of histological specimens.
The processing unit consists of three kerosene stations and the retort.
There are three cassette baskets each with a capacity of 100 cassettes.
The processor is programmed through a color touch screen, LCP type.
The equipment control software gives detailed information about all functions on the screen.

HistoCore Arcadia H Paraffin Station, Leica
Paraffin is dispensed through heated dispensing nozzles and the flow rate can be easily regulated as required to ensure trouble-free paraffin dispensing in all kinds of working situations.

LEICA HI1210 Thermostatic Bath for collection of kerosene slices
It is a water bath with a surface that provides high thermal conductivity and excellent scratch resistance due to its special plastic coating.
Temperatures can be selected between room temperature and 75º.
The wide rim allows convenient storage of slides.

LEICA VT1000S Vibratometer
It employs a precise vibrating blade that allows sectioning without freezing or embedding, so the viability of fresh tissue can be maintained.
Adjustable blade feed speed
Fully automated cutting mode. It features a high blade return stroke speed of 5 mm/s, as well as a freely programmable cutting window that ensures extremely fast sectioning of even the smallest specimens.
