On the occasion of the meeting of the VI Edition of the UIMP-IBiS School of Biomedicine, on 3 December 2021, the guest speaker, Dr. Li-Huei Tsai from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, received the IBiS 2021 Distinguished Researcher Award for her contributions related to the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms involved in learning, memory and Alzheimer's disease that have opened new perspectives for therapeutic intervention in neurodegeneration.
