Computer Aided Design and 3D Printing

The computer-aided design and 3D printing service is intended to support the creation of new prototypes, designs or anatomical models for the center's researchers.

The team has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of biomodels and medical-grade surgical guides for the planning of interventions, as well as in the design and testing of new prototypes and designs requested by researchers.

The fabrication laboratory (FABLAB HUVR-IBiS) has several 3D printing machines for both fused filament and light-curing resins, including medical grade materials that can be used in the operating room.
