Genomics and Sequencing

WITH A GENERAL NATURE

The genomics service is staffed with qualified technical personnel who carry out the requested experiments and maintain the equipment. Therefore, it does not require intervention from users.

On the other hand, it is essential to carry out a work request by using the email genomica-ibis@us.es, in order to manage the workflow of the Service.

SERVICE REQUEST

User external to IBiS:

1. Request information for sending samples to the email genomica-ibis@us.es
2. Once the results are available, the Service will inform the user by email of the format for sending them.
3. All users are requested not to send samples without prior knowledge of the Service.

IBiS user:

1. Fill out the application located on the Notice Board of the IBiS server and send it to the email genomica-ibis@us.es
2. The user will prepare the samples according to the instructions of the technician responsible for the Service and will leave them in the Service, at -20ºC, perfectly identified.
3. Once the results are available, the Service will notify the user by email. The results will be deposited in the folder of each laboratory on the IBiS internal network.
4. All users are requested not to submit samples without prior knowledge of the Service.
